"WHAT'S A BOOK SWAP?"
Just what it sounds like, a swapping of books. Gather up all your previously enjoyed books, and bring them in to swap or trade for “new to you” books for your family to enjoy. All genres of literature will be accepted. There is no limit to the number of books you may contribute.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
At home, sort the books that have already been enjoyed in your household. Call your friends and family members and ask them to do the same ... and come alone or as a group to the swap! Book swaps are even more fun when you can share your great finds with friends.
Please bring your books to swap in a box or bag (so you can then use the box/bag to take your newly acquired books home). This is a one-for-one swap. For each book you contribute to the swap, you will receive a voucher/ticket for a “new to you” book. If you bring 1 book, you can take 1 book. If you bring 10 books, you may take 10 books. You may contribute as many books as you like. For each book contributed, you will receive tickets to trade in for “new” books.
When you get to the swap, sort the books by genre onto marked tables. Next comes the fun part.
Go to the tables with the types of books you are looking for, and take what you want to read. Free of charge.
You do not need to take as many books as you bring, but you cannot take more than you bring.
If there are any leftover books, we will be donating them to various charities.

This is for individuals only ... No charities, shelters, or resale.

WHEN IS DROP OFF?
Sunday, July 19, 2009 from 4:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. Monday, July 20, 2009 from 9:00a.m. until 10:00a.m. Swap will begin at 10:00a.m. Open to the public.

IF I MISS DROP OFF, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?
Please try to bring your books at drop off times, to help with organization and ensure the best selection to all participants. However, if you miss the scheduled drop-off, you can still participate in the book swap. Please bring the books you would like to swap at your convenience. You will be able to participate anytime July 19 – July 20, 2009.

PLEASE NOTE: For safety reasons. All children must be supervised.
